We were fortunate that Tony had a special relationship with the Abbot who gave us special permission - and the fence key - to visit the the area. |

The assaults fought their way from Phantom Ridge at extreme right, across the Albaneta Farm and turned left directly toward the camera position on Hill 593. Hill 593 was a perfect defensive position allowing no unobserved movement. |
