Pacific War 75th Anniversary Blogs
I wrote these essays on the 75th annivarsary of the major battles of the Pacific War, lest a new generation forget the sacrifice and dedication of the
greatest generation - and the carnage of war. Let them also stand as a fervent hope that another world war never be inflicted on humankind.
Naturally, many nations formed the alliance that defeated Japan in the Pacific War, will all respect and admiration for all those countries that fought in this epic conflict,
my blogs are limited to those battles fought largely by United States forces.
Please note that I, Michael B. Sturm, authored all these pieces but have not registered them for copyright protection. They were written and published on Face Book on the
75th Anniversary of the events discussed, between December, 2016 and September, 2020. I relied on many information sources, including publications of the U.S. Army Center for Military
History and books of many authors. These sources will be listed separately.
